About
Since 2017, the Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC), a division within Purdue IT, has been at the forefront of spearheading the WHPC campus organization. The WHPC program, part of a RCAC broader engagement initiative, is a group of Purdue University undergraduate, graduate, staff, and faculty men and women interested in exposing everyone to High Performance Computing (HPC) and encouraging their pursuit of research and careers in HPC and technology fields. The primary objective of WHPC is to foster exposure and empowerment among others in the Purdue academic community, encouraging their active pursuit of research and professional pathways within the realms of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and technology.
Promote Awareness
Promote awareness regarding the presence and contributions of everyone in the HPC domain within the Purdue University community.
Cultivate a Supportive Environment
Cultivate a nurturing and supportive environment, enabling everyone to explore and refine their interests in HPC.
Facilitate Opportunities
Facilitate the sharing of valuable opportunities and resources, including scholarships, awards, and personal development avenues.
Facilitate Participation and Networking
Facilitate active participation and networking opportunities for everyon in major conferences within HPC.
